A Global Business Systems provider are currently recruiting for a Technical Architect to be a senior member of their AX/D365 Practice. The technical architect will work closely Development Leads, Solution Architects and Enterprise Architect to ensure the delivery of high-quality implementations.
This is a home-based position, with travel to Surrey being required 1 to 2 times per month.
*Technical lead on customer implementations with responsibility for the technical delivery of the project/programme.
*Author documentation, or quality assurance of documentation, that accurately reflects the architecture and environments for an AX/D365 implementation.
*Provide technical leadership by working with AX/D365 to ensure best practice is delivered.
*Work with senior members of the project team to ensure successful implementation.
*Be invoked in pre-sales to help shape the technical requirements as understood at the ITT stage of a new opportunity.
*Responsible for defining the technical solution blueprint for inclusion in ITT and RFP responses.
*Participate in pre-sales engagements and diagnostics to support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams on new bids.
*Analysing, designing and delivering infrastructure and architecture to support customer's, business and project needs within financial budget guidelines. Providing QA of these activities when carried out by others within the team.
*Establishing and developing key relationships within Microsoft, 3rd party suppliers as well as with customers and internal stakeholder.
Experience and Skills:
*Experience on several full lifecycle implementations of Dynamics AX/D365 and be able to discuss critical path & value-add components from within the technical stream.
*Strong understanding of Cloud services and capabilities is a key role of the Technical Architect who should be able to discuss how the advances in Cloud can be embraced.
*Experience of performance monitoring / troubleshooting for AX/D365 implementations
