You will be responsible for driving profitable sales, delivering the most relevant product and experience offering for the shopper and creating and managing relationships in and outside of the company supporting our objectives and customer growth. Possessing excellent knowledge of the principles of shopper marketing, you will be responsible for managing the customer journey process having had previous experience in retail and/ or on-line channels.
*Identify, plan, adapt and execute Shopper Marketing programmes and marketing strategies.
*Deliver on net sales and gross margin targets through the respective channels and customers
*Drive activities that result in Point of Sale Growth for customers.
*Plan and manage asset creation (on and off line), customer events, in-store display and co-marketing activities with accounts
*Integrate local shopper and customer insights into the development of Shopper Marketing programmes
*Lead in the channel planning process (annual planning process) with Sales and Sales Management teams.
*Voice of country for shopper/customer/channel inputs to Central Marketing Team on local consumer and shopper insights, category performance and marketing strategy for local and regional large opportunities.
*Responsibility for price setting
*Plan and manage Advertising and Promotional budgets.
Knowledge & Skills
*Business development mind-set
*Ability to manage and influence customer interactions at buyer, merchandising and marketing levels (on and off line) to enable decision making and progress.
*Numerical and Data ability. Analyse data (POS & Market), market research and customer knowledge to shape insights.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects to customer deadlines.
*Proven experience of executing shopper marketing programmes is essential
*Demonstrable experience of working within the DIY channel is strongly preferred
*Business Degree Qualified preferable
*Marketing education desirable (CIM, MSc or similar)
