Senior IT Applications and Support Analyst
Location: Leicester
Contract

The ideal candidate will provide all round 2nd/3rd line support and maintenance for the all in-house applications and internal systems, as well as providing project support as and when required.

Responsibilities
*Diagnosis and resolution of all system faults and failures in accordance with published SLA's and in a customer focused manner (2nd/3rd line)
*Escalation of appropriate faults, failures and modification requests to the relevant parties, ensuring timely and appropriate responses in accordance with any existing service contracts
*Provide support, development and administration for server based Systems, support and administration for security systems, networking systems including edge and Core switches, WAN Routers and Wireless networking systems.
*As a member of the team, work closely with all parts of the business owning support tickets to resolution as well as helping develop the skills within the IT Helpdesk Team

Essential Skills Required
*In-house / bespoke applications
*Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server
*SQL Server installation and maintenance
*LAN/WAN TCP/IP environment

Desirable Skills only;

*Project Support / Co-ordination
*Hyper-V Administration
*TSQL Querying for data retrieval
*Active Directory
*Microsoft Exchange
*Cisco or other
*MS Sharepoint
*MCITP, MCSE, MCTS
