You will be specifically responsible for the profitable growth of their innovative and game changing abrasive belt portfolio, capable of developing new and existing relationships with medium to large end users in this industry.
You will have demonstrable experience of meeting & exceeding an annual sales target by increasing market share through competitive new end user conversions, working alongside the existing territory sales team you will also provide in-depth application/process support where this is needed.
The position will require the ability to travel throughout North Europe when required to visit existing and potential end users and conversion partners and to work with our local sales teams based in the countries.
*Achieve sales targets quarterly and under an annual sales plan
*Identify and win new opportunities as required under sales plan.
*Develop brand loyalty across the specific vertical markets of castings, forgings and general metalworking.
*Maintain and develop existing and new end user relationships to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
*Concentrate time at end users, getting product specified & supporting products trials.
*Identify and share leads for products/solutions outside core specialism.
*Develop a close working relationship with the appropriate converter account managers.
*Build productive relationships with distributor sales teams.

*Maintain accurate and up to date data within a CRM system and other appropriated systems.
Skills, experience and key capabilities (Essential)
*Proven sales performer with track record of strong sales performance within industrial manufacturing markets
*Knowledge of abrasive products, applications and processes is essential.
*Detailed knowledge of abrasive belts and closely aligned markets is preferable.
*Strong commercial acumen.
*Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both externally and internally
* A self-starter with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
*Able to build excellent customer relationships.
*Strong negotiation skills.
