Looking for a Regional Sales Executive where you will be tasked with maintaining existing business and generating growth in our API and Biopharma accounts for a specific geographical region of the UK, ideal candidates will be based in the Midlands/Manchester as this role will cover areas of Scotland, Wales and the North England.
Salary is competitive and TBC depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Manage and retain existing key account end user customers to achieve the territory sales targets.
Identify and contact new business opportunities to grow the territory in line with SPSD sales targets and drive opportunity pipeline.
To develop close working relationships with our distributors and build on agreed business plans, promotional activities, joint working and end user support
To manage the margin and pricing requirements of the territory in line with the business expectations
Feedback on competitor activities within the marketplace
Record all relevant customer activities in SFDC according to SPSD business rules
Support marketing activities and NPI in line with launch targets
Skills, Experience and Key Requirements
Capabilities Sales experience preferably in a Technical Sales role with a track record of success in winning and retaining business.
Detailed knowledge of the biopharma / pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and closely aligned markets
Ambitious and driven
Numerate and proficient with analysis and manipulation of data. Qualifications
Degree qualification in Applied Biology/ Biochemistry / Biochemical Engineering or equivalent strongly preferred
