React / Java Developer
Location: London (Central)
Length: 6 Month Initial Contract, Highly Extendible
Daily Rate: £350 - £425

Working as a React / Java Developer for a global entertainment giant. You will be working as part of an agile delivery team within the Development and Integration Services department. The successful candidate will be required to undertake hands-on design and code activities and to perform reviews of the designs and code produced by other team members (and guiding and mentoring the team as required). You will also be required to participate in the estimating and planning process for the overall development activity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most innovative organisations in the market, in a growing and changing team. There is also a high possibility this could be a very long term contract.

Role Will Also Include:

-Design and coding of applications
-Develop and extend on existing automaton test suite
-Implement tools and automation of development processes where applicable
-Participate in definition of design and coding guidelines and standards
-Participate in reviews of design and code artefacts

Skills Required:

-Excellent Java skills
-Excellent React.js skills
-Extensive experience developing web applications; across all tiers (front end, web, business and database)
-Experience working in an agile environment with TDD
-Experience with test automation of services and functionality using frameworks such as Selenium, Jest etc.
-Proven experience developing Restful APIs using Spring Boot
-Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
-Extensive experience working on MySQL database
