Advises on, supervises, and performs administrative and technical work primarily concerned with the assurance and inspection of material, products, and processes for conformance with established specifications and standards; and for compliance with regulatory specifications and standards. Responsible for verifying the final quality of products on the production line and also separating those that do not have the desired technical specification, through checking with measurement instruments or equipment, aiming to follow the norms and standards of quality defined by the company. Conducts non-destructive examination (NDE) and quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards. Captures and analyses statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards. Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards. Require technical or managerial knowledge and ability, plus a practical knowledge of quality assurance and control concepts and systems.

Day shift pattern.
*Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and quarantining all unacceptable materials.
*Requires NDT level III certification when specified.
*Conducts routine adherence audits.
*Performs basic measurement of products and components.
*Evaluates basic testing and recording of defects under the direct guidance of Senior Quality Technicians.
*Provides feedback to engineers and management on quality concerns.
*Observes and executes manual test procedures for new and/or existing products.
*Conducts root cause investigation on basic production issues and participates in the investigation and qualification of solutions.
*Performs new verification & validation procedures and coordinates continuous improvement activities to ensure production readiness.
*Supports engineers on customer and supplier visits, as required.
*Performs basic data analysis for process or product conformance/capability.
*Investigates customer complaints to a satisfactory closure.
*Improves production quality job knowledge by attending training sessions, as required.
