Our client are currently looking for a Project Manager (with specific experience with Tunnelling projects) to join their team based in London for an initial 6 month contract.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead efficiently a large team of agents, surveyors, engineers and site support functions
- Produce financial forecast, monitoring and controlling project costs
- Administer the project in line with the Contract
- Deliver projects from design phase to completion including all handover documentation
- Ensure the contract is defined and understood by the team
- Chair weekly site planning meetings and ensure production of accurate records and plans
- Develop, update and optimise construction programmes with support of planning team
- Ensure comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs

Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 2 yrs experience managing Tunneling/SCL projects in UK
- Proficient in NEC3 Opt A & C and change management
- Experienced in Design Management
- Programme & Risk Management
- Production of CVR, incl cost control, forecasting and value assessment
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent SMSTS Excellent communication, people management skills, ability to influence and mentor
- Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to conclusion
- Ability to manage and deliver a successful project with minimal guidance
