The finance team are closely integrated with the business and currently cover all main transactional reporting areas. Support is provided from specialised corporate functions for tax, treasury, etc.
Joining our team, we have members with experience ranging from 6 months to 30+ years, comprising both highly experienced and qualified personnel and we are looking for a new Payroll Manager to join us on an initial 24-month contract.
Role and responsibilities
*Management of relationship with outsourced payroll provider ADP and time management system provider "Auto-time"
*Monitoring and reporting site headcount and maintaining standing payroll data
*Tracking and reporting the variable pay elements for the sites 350 heads, comprising of overtime and Shift allowances
*Development and improvement of standard operating procedures
*Other ad hoc tasks to support the UK finance team.
Experience and skills required
*5 years' experience working in payroll in a standalone role
*Good at building effective cross-functional relationships.
*Experience in a large company environment with strong procedures and internal controls
*Accustomed to short deadlines and complex reporting lines
*Experience in a dynamic business.
*Payroll qualification (Strongly desirable)
*Kellio clocking experience (Advantage but not essential)
*prior experience in a manufacturing or a multi-national business of comparable scale (Desirable)
