You will be responsible for creating and managing the non-functional test scripts based on the business processes, IT, infrastructure design documents and perform testing for the test areas such as: Alerts / Monitoring, Backup and Restore, Deployment and Rollback, Load Balancing, High Availability and Resilience and Failover and Disaster Recovery.
To be considered, you must have had a lot of experience specifically with Operational Readiness testing to both plan and execute OAT test activities.
Other responsibilities include;
*Execute testing using appropriate tooling and environments
*Review and/or define operational procedures and ensure alignment to the OAT activities for new services and systems.
*Assist with developing test practices and ensuring delivery of testing services.
*Deliver on non-functional test execution and assurance activities, and on defect management from such test phases.
*Work closely with the programme test manager and SMEs to ensure that the test programme aligns to the overall programme in terms of time, quality and cost requirements.
*Understand and input to non-functional test requirements as well as OAT / BCDR test plans.
*Support transition into service with test acceptance activities.
*Experience in non-functional testing across IT and BCDR processes and tools that are used for IT setup such as Alerting/monitoring, Failover, Hyper-V virtualisation.
*Strong understanding of critical Live services, SLAs and operational procedures and the relevant test documentations for execution and assurance.
*Experience in system and network infrastructure testing is important.
*Extensive experience in reviewing OAT test requirements, creating test scripts, traceability matrices, test data sets and test results/reports.
*Strong knowledge of SDLC and experience with Agile test methodology.
*Technical understanding of design and system architecture.
*A strong understanding of the Testing of OAT principles.
*Experience of working with a variety of Test Tools for Functional and Non-Functional.
*Experience of defect management tools such as JIRA and associated JIRA Add-ons.
*ISEB/ISTQB certification - minimum of Foundation, Advanced or Practitioner preferred.
