New Product Development Manager - £45 -£50k - Manchester

A Global technology company have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Development professional to join Product Planning department in the Manchester.

This is a fast pace and varied role, within a small but enthusiastic team, which requires an experienced and adaptable candidate to lead new product development across our clients broad catalogue portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
*Effectively driving and supporting product development for the European market.
*Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
*Managing the initial phases of New Product Development, especially innovation and development.
*Drive activities to select appropriate products including market research and analysis, as well developing proposition and product strategies.
*Achieve the successful delivery of products to the business, including writing reports and conducting product trials.

Essential Skills:
*Strong technical aptitude, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies - A background in IT is highly beneficial.
*Expert understanding of new product development and different business models.
*Experience of leading the new product lifecycle from initial mapping through to product trials.
*Excellent communication skills to all levels of the business, in the form of both written and oral, including presentations and reports.
*Flexibility to travel based business requirements.
