Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Skelmersdale
Salary: £28,000

Arguably, the world's leading manufacturing company offers its employees genuine career progression and the opportunity for personal reward working within a successful and expanding company. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join their successful Skelmersdale plant.

The role:
*Ensuring production targets are met, optimise output & minimise defects
*Coordinate Total Productive Maintenance activities
*Manage spares stock; Stock accuracy, location & budget control
*Schedule TPM maintenance activities and track schedule adherence
*Track Equipment downtime; Repairs, failure mode and frequency
*Strong knowledge of SAP desirable
*Knowledge of stock management
*Ordering of Spares and non-stock items
*Strong problem solving skills
*Computer literate; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP
*A team player with the ability to work with staff at differing levels of the organisation.
*Ability to establish, assess and upgrade procedures and systems.
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Versatile and a self-starter able to work without supervision.

The package:

Day shift pattern.

The person:

*Health and Safety awareness will be amongst your main priorities, and Health and Safety guidelines should be actively adhered to and promoted
*Coordinate Total Productive Maintenance activities with the Production Leader to ensure equipment reliability and performance
*Develop and implement significant improvements in processes, procedures and systems, especially related to maintenance activities, spares management and downtime tracking
*Improve the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel and production equipment and processes.
*Implement and sustaining stock management, inventory and budget control
*Analysing data to fault find and develop prioritised improvement plans for the platform.
*Document and train process and procedures using our SOP's and training processes
*Gather & share best practice, both within 3M Scott Safety and 3M world class manufacturing sites.
