Working hours - Your normal hours of work will be an average of 40 hours per week over five days. The shift length will be 8.25 hours each day except for the Friday late shift which will be 5.75 hours - see below for actual working hours.
*Early Shift - Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 14:15
*Late Shift - Monday to Thursday - 13.45 to 22:00, Friday - 13:45 to 19:30
Overall Mission -
Testing of pharmaceutical raw materials including components, packaging and finished products for batch release, stability, development studies and customer complaints in line with the site procedures. Represent the department as required to include external customers and regulators.
Job Responsibilities -
*Working in a safe manner taking responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
*Following the 10 rules of GMP, working to appropriate laboratory systems, standards and procedures e.g. data recording, labelling, investigation and calibration procedures. Completing analytical documentation.
*Performing analytical testing using methods where training has been received with minimal avoidable issues in order to meet scheduled timelines.
*Responsible for the maintenance, calibration and validation of laboratory equipment.
*Communication with auditors during a customer/regulatory audit.
*Execution of pre-prepared validation protocols for the validation of laboratory equipment / methods.
Knowledge & Skills Required -
*Knowledge of pharmaceutical testing requirements, testing equipment and current Analytical techniques
*Must have worked with GLP, GMP, Specifications and Test Methods
*Must have 1 years' experience of testing within the Pharmaceutical Laboratory
*Ideally will have some GLC experience
*BTEC HNC with 2-4 years relevant experience
*120 OU points in relevant discipline
*Minimum of 2 years' experience at L3
