Junior Service Desk
Location: Leicester
Salary: £8-£10 per hour (2-3 Month Contract)


Working for an expanding IT services and software specialist you will be responsible for providing technical support to all customers. Candidates must have an aptitude to learning new systems/technology and be pro-active in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

The role:

*Escalation of appropriate faults and failures and change requests to the relevant parties, ensuring timely and appropriate responses in accordance with any existing service contracts;
*Maintain up-to date technical skills to perform the role in a dynamic business environment;
*Provide support and administration for server-based system, support and administration for security systems and networking systems;
*As a member of the team, work closely with all parts of the business, owning support tickets to resolution as well as helping develop the skills within the IT Helpdesk Team;
*Be comfortable writing and maintain documentation, reports and knowledge base;
*Be comfortable dealing with customers queries in a professional manor.
