IT Support Technician - Leeds - £20k-£23k

You will provide site based IT support to one of the client sites with occasional travel to other office locations. The role involves end user support for locally based staff and remotely supporting over the phone and screen sharing technologies for staff based in remote locations. The successful candidate will join the clients' existing support team. The role involves a mix of hardware and operating system/software support. The day-to-day activities will be driven by incident workload and project based activities.

Responsibilities:

*To provide remote and desk side technical support to the "clients" user base to achieve fulfilment of Incidents and requests of an IT nature
*The ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience
*Incident Management of major incidents
*Keeping the knowledge based documents up to date
*To record all incidents / changes within the clients ITSM tool
*Make outbound phone calls to users keeping them informed on a regular basis
*End to end ownership of all incident / change / service requests through to closure


Essential Skills:

*3 Years working in IT Support (face to face or remote)
*Good understanding of supporting Microsoft Server / Desktop technologies and associated suite of packages
*Experience of Server / Workstation hardware (component replacement)
*Android / iOS support
*Microsoft domain infrastructure; Exchange, group policy, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
*Troubleshooting Experience
