The ECS Resource Group are recruiting for an IT Support Engineer to work for a global security organisation based in Leicester. You will be responsible for providing 2nd/3rd Line Support and maintenance across Desktop, Infrastructure and Networking, as well as supporting a bespoke application.

The ideal candidate will have a strong IT Support background and also bespoke application experience.

Responsibilities
*Diagnosis and resolution of all system faults and failures in accordance with published SLA's and in a customer focused manner (2nd/3rd line)
*Escalation of appropriate faults, failures and modification requests to the relevant parties, ensuring timely and appropriate responses in accordance with any existing service contracts
*Provide support, development and administration for server based Systems, support and administration for security systems, networking systems including edge and Core switches, WAN Routers and Wireless networking systems.
*As a member of the team, work closely with all parts of the business owning support tickets to resolution as well as helping develop the skills within the IT Helpdesk Team

Essential Skills Required
*Strong IT Support background across Desktop, infrastructure and Networking
*Previously supported In-house / bespoke applications
*Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server experience
*Good SQL skills
*VMWare experience
