The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical skills. This is a key role to the incident management process as they are responsible for accurately identifying and reporting any issues on the live service applications and the surrounding 3rd party packages. In addition to the monitoring portion of the role OAs also provide an in depth level of problem determination and recovery. You will be expected to be able to troubleshoot and start/stop system components in order to progress system recovery. You will be responsible for running the live services and this is managed by a complex daily business timeline that includes time sensitive checks/actions.
You will have previous experience of working in a 1st/2nd support position.
Ideally hold a educated background
Strong communication skills and willing to learn new technologies
Full training is given.
This position will be required to work on a 24x7 shift schedule.
