Infrastructure Support Analyst - Newcastle - £25-28k

As the Infrastructure Support Analyst you will work in the brand new infrastructure team supporting Lan/Wan environments and server infrastructure. You will be responsible for day to day monitoring of my clients Lan/Wan and server infrastructure as well as managing and owning the process of patching to the Lan/Wan and Server Infrastructure in accordance with policies and procedures. You will also be responsible to the management of 3rd party suppliers and ensure that downtime notice or planned maintenance from these suppliers is communicated to the wider IT Team using Incident and/or Change Management.

Essential Skills..
*You will have experience of working in a data centre technology within a large corporate environment with an emphasis on Network and Service Operations Centres (NOC / SOC)
*Managing and supporting network and server infrastructures
*Use and configuration of patching technology and best practice (Including SCCM, WSUS)
*Use and configuration of monitoring technology and best practice (Including SolarWinds, LAN Sweeper)
*Working with ITIL methodology
*Experience in IT Service Desk environment with monitoring is a plus
*Involvement with Disaster Recovery plans and related technologies
*IT Service Delivery in a multiple technology domain

**This role requires you to work shift patterns on a rota basis between 6.00am - 22.00pm & Saturday 7.00am -12.00pm **
