Implementation Manager - Tamworth - £50k - £60k

Purpose:
To manage the full life-cycle of WMS projects including full implementation of new systems and major projects for existing systems. Manage the project team working on each project. Provide second-line support for WMS issues.

Key Responsibilities:
*Project manage WMS projects across the full life-cycle
*Carry out project scoping and documentation of systems
*Analyse business needs and determine solutions using standard or bespoke solutions
*Analyse and manage the integration of third-party systems including route-planning, carrier integration, electronic proof-of-delivery and carousel systems.
*Setup and configure WMS systems for use by new sites including wave planning, rules, reports, dashboards, users and security.
*Assist with data migration between the old and new systems.
*Undertake full testing programmes, log, investigate and resolve any issues found.
*Produce and update documentation of business processes and user guides.
*Lead training sessions with end users and support them through initial use of the system.
*Assist end users with testing, provide support and investigate issues.
*Support project go-lives on-site across weekends and evenings.
*Provide post go-live support to users, carry out further training, investigate issues and update stakeholders.
*Provide second-line support for WMS issues.
*Manage and develop the WMS team, provide training and coaching, undertake performance management and line management responsibilities.

Skills and Competences:
*Experience of project managing and implementing warehouse management systems through the full life-cycle
*Working knowledge of ERP systems (Sage Line 500, Sage Line 1000, Sage X3)
*Working knowledge of database systems (Informix, SQL Server)
*Working knowledge of an industry standard IT Service Management tool (Ivanti)
*Team management experience
*Hands-on and flexible approach to working
*Technical knowledge of ERP systems (Sage Line 500, Sage Line 1000, Sage X3)
*Knowledge of WMS bolt-on systems
*Hands-on and flexible approach to working
*You must hold a full UK driving licence as this position will require regular travel around UK.
