One of our high profile clients are looking to recruit an experienced Field Support Engineer to cover the North West.
*Responding to service calls on client sites based around the North of England
*Vetting calls if not attending site
*Resolve complex technical faults maintaining regular communication with the company.
*Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance as and when requested ensuring that full activity records are documented.
*Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of company products, services and solutions.
*Ensure strict adherence to SLA when dealing with customer tickets/calls.
*Minimum of 3 - 5 years'support experience
*Strong troubleshooting skills required.
*Printer repair and an understanding of mechanical print process is essential.
*Printer driver and connectivity- local & network experience is required.
*PC hardware/software experience required.
*Server Hardware experience required.
*Excellent customer service & client interfacing skills essential.
*Knowledge of the following types of printers - Hewlett Packard, Sharp, Xerox and Kyocera, Canon, Oki, and Tally would be an advantage.
*Software basic skills would also be an advantage.
*To be an efficient member of staff and maintain a high standard work ethic.
*To adhere to Information Security Policy
*Being involved with projects and working as an extension to our support desk.
*Willing to work out of hours and be flexible & willing to carry out additional duties as & when required.
*Must hold a full UK driving licence
