As the Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for all general technical servicing and support to Public, University, College and School Libraries across a large geographical region, including installations. The role will require both face to face and telephone contact with clients. You will be responsible for delivering high standards of service across a range of activities, ensuring that customers are managed efficiently and effectively.
*The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of: Electronics, mechanical handling, computing (software and hardware) and hardware installation.
*Previous field service experience in an electronic or IT environment
*Ideally some experience within a similar role (with RFID experience) - however, training will be given.
*You will be motivated, a team player with a commitment to deliver outstanding customer service & support..
*This client-facing role requires an experienced individual who can demonstrate enthusiasm, confidence and the flexibility to manage the needs of their clients. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role and you will be dealing primarily with key members of our client's team.
*Happy to deal with challenging situations
*Must have a current driving licence and valid passport
