Datacentre Engineer / IT Support Technician
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: £19,000 + Benefits

Working for a global IT solutions organisation, you will be working within a diverse, vibrant and multicultural environment. There are two permanent vacancies within the data centre / media operations team.

This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team, and grow your knowledge within the IT sector, forging a successful career in IT / hardware support. It's also the ideal position to support a busy family or social life, with excellent work/life balance (working only 2 weeks in 3, including reduced hours for one of the weeks).

Responsibilities include:
Eyes support after taking instruction from support groups including:
Physical reboots of device
Checking for hardware failure lights
Checking for console error messages
Assist in resolution of physical network faults and hardware problems
Place tape or CD media into device to precede a recovery of a server
Complete all necessary logs to record Hands and Eyes activities
Professionally communicate and host customer contacts (for example engineers)
