My client, a global innovative organisation, are looking for an experienced credit Controller to join their Customer Financial Services. You will be working closely with colleagues to support the department's collection activities, the successful applicant will be a self starter who is able to work well as part of a team and can equally work independently.
Key Activities include:
*To operate all established collection procedures using initiative ,imagination and flexibility to achieve targeted expectations whilst promoting customer goodwill.
*To handle promptly all credit referrals, all systems output and daily correspondence making sure all queries are resolved quickly.
*To identify accounts requiring special attention, acting decisively to resolve difficulties , consulting management were appropriate
*To maintain accurate and up to date customer details including account records and current credit information.
*To regularly review in consultation with Senior Credit Executives ,customers' financial status with particular reference to major accounts and known high risks taking appropriate action.
*To develop and maintain harmonious and effective working relationships with all customers, credit management colleagues, sales and customer service personnel , visiting as necessary to resolve problems and promote co- operation, mutual understanding and improvement.
*To investigate and assess credit worthiness of newly proposed customers in a timely thorough and cost effective manner using available information sources appropriate to exposure level, liaising with Senior Credit Executive as required
Key Skills required:
*Previous experience of Credit Control
*Ability to communicate effectively across all the organisation and customers.
*Good problem solving skills and able to work on your own initiative and work as a team and stay calm when under pressure from customers.
*IT literate and good with systems.
*Confidence with a strong engagement of people.
*Assertive - ability to ask for debts to be settled.
*Team Player and able to work independently when required.
