This new role will be a blank sheet of paper, which the right candidate will thrive on and take our content marketing initiatives to the next level. Your responsibilities are wide ranging, including content strategy and planning, content creation, customer marketing and campaign management. The role will suit a person who already has 3+ years proven experience within a hands-on Content Manager or Marketing.
Executive/Communication/PR role, preferably with a B2B brand and who has vision and is self-motivated, energetic person who can lead, create and implement. This role is to be based in the City of London working for my client's unique technology company. Providing Managed Unified Communication (UC) and Contact Centre Services to global businesses, you will be responsible for conducting marketing activities and campaigns across the marketing mix.
Duties of the Marketing Executive include:
*Lead Creative on all copy creation including marketing collateral, blog articles, customer success stories and the website.
*Drive lead generation, brand awareness and increase engagement with our target audience by increasing MQLs and interactions.
*Develop new strategies for growing reach (paid and organic) and maximising ROI including influencer marketing and customer marketing.
*Create, update and monitor a content calendar driven by key metrics and new ideas.
*Be at the forefront of emerging trends in content marketing and proactively champion new ideas to the Head of Marketing for consideration and trial periods.
*Provide a monthly report to track progress and KPIs offering up suggestions for improvements and further investment/focus.
*Talking to senior stakeholders to decipher information needed for our collateral before producing high-quality copy and managing amends through to sign off as quickly as possible.
*Finding creative and innovative ways to improve our SEO.
*Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur. Producing an accurate summary of total spend and opportunity value created at the end of a marketing campaign.
*Any other reasonable duties as per the Head of Marketing.
*Proven success in delivering effective and engaging content marketing campaigns.
*Strong copy-writing skills essential - a storyteller.
*Commercial, analytical mindset with a positive, can-do attitude. Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. 3+ years' experience in a Content Manager role within an in-house marketing team or similar.
*Exceptional multi-tasking skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong project/campaign management/organisational skills.
*SEO experience. An excellent understanding and experience of using HubSpot including lead nurture campaigns and automation workflows.
*Excellent PowerPoint skills - both creating and editing, creative skills in InDesign and Photoshop an advantage Events experience.
