*Implement the strategic priorities and ensure the Advisory Board contributes to the success of the Group Purchasing Organisation.
*Actively engaging the assigned Advisory Board(s) to drive contracting strategies, determine clinical and technical requirements for the tender process, make contract award recommendations (and in some cases, contract award decisions), and support implementation of contracts.
*Work with the procurement team, supply chain team and other departments.
*Creating a cross functional interdependent team to support the success of the assigned Advisory Board(s).
*Defining the requirements of board members and coordinating the development and delivery of win-win solutions.
*Building and maintaining close client relationships, understanding client key initiatives, and how those initiatives integrate or impact contracting initiatives.
*Engaging various levels of stakeholders, including but not limited to: clinicians, physicians, technical staff, department heads, and supply chain executives, CEOs, COOs, and CFOs.
*Managing the Advisory Board budget.
*Providing cost saving enhancement strategies.
*Ongoing tracking and analysis of Advisory Board initiatives to ensure realisation of discounts.
*Demonstrating the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
*Demonstrated success in managing a comprehensive clinical program within a hospital, clinic, or managed care organization required. Demonstrated leadership history and capability required.
*Documented examples of successful clinical initiative implementation across multiple clinical areas.
*Familiar with the primary technologic and strategic issues pertaining to group purchasing industry required.
*Understanding of and good application of Salesforce.
*Knowledge of inSight and its alignment to the Group Purchasing Organisation.
*Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required.
*Demonstrated presentation/public speaking skills and experience required.
*Proficient with a personal computer and the use of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
*This position requires the equivalent of a Bachelor's degree, (Masters preferred)
*3-5 years Acute Care experience managing the day-to-day operations of one or more departments and / or service lines.
*3-5 years of clinical experience.
*Experience in evaluating quality of products, procedures, and services.
*Strong Team Member participation history and experience within a team structure and team dynamics preferred.
*Maintains current registration in his/her clinical specialty.
*Registration with relevant nursing body.
