An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Change Manager.
This is a 12 month contract opportunity, working Monday to Friday, working hours 36.25 hours per week.
The site is moving through a program of increasing automation in our manufacturing areas across a number of production lines. There are activities to manage in terms of increasing productivity and reducing non value added activities again where this has an impact on people. This is a complex and fast moving environment where maintaining safety, production targets, quality and cost, whilst delivering this program of change is paramount.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain change management of the automation changes and managing the people plan. This will include leading a cross-functional team from engineering, operations, HR, and leading the consultation on the changes.
*Prior project management experience of a large supply chain project involving people
*Previous experience in supply chain specifically manufacturing is preferred
*Strong organisation skills
*Strong communication skills across a variety of mediums
*Experience of working in FMCG
*Ideally experience working successfully with unions and a variety of stakeholders
*A technical background - engineering / science degree or similar
