Business Development Manager / Account Manager
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 Basic (OTE of £71,000 + Car allowance)

Our client is a leading provider of technology services and solutions to SME, corporate and public sectors. They are currently looking for a BDM/Account Manger to join their successful Wakefield team.


The role:

*Account management: quotations, regular customer contact
*Researching potential customers to drive new business
*New business development: cold calling, email marketing
*Booking, organising and hosting customer meetings
*Building your business pipeline to achieve monthly targets
*Pro-actively following up opportunities to close deals
*Engaging with the group's specialist teams where appropriate to sell value services and meet customer needs

The package:

For all your hard-work and dedication to your role, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £25,000-£35,000 OTE of £71,000 in addition to this you will also receive a weekly car allowance. This also includes a market leading benefits package.

The person:

*Previous sales experience within the IT managed service sector with evidence of a strategical approach to account managed services and the use of comprehensive account development plans.
*A self-starter, quick learner and highly organised
*To stay abreast of technology and up to date innovations
*An understanding of Microsoft products and licensing methods including Office 365and Azure, as well as technical experience in building solutions leveraging these products over and above solely product sales.
