*Develop and maintain great relationships with architects, specifiers, developers, construction companies and the OEM door manufacturers
*Find and follow up leads via cold calling, product presentations, CPD presentations and Barbour/other lead systems to completion of the projects
*Development and implementation of strategies and plans to align product offering to customer strategic direction and maximise opportunities with our Key Account Managers' accounts eg. portfolio extension, competitor displacement, volume increase, referring to BI information
*Facilitate the creation of key account structures to develop cross-functional teams for multiple effective contact points for major customers, and maintain
*Negotiation of contracts and service level agreements
*Working in line with the sales and marketing strategies to deliver effective promotional activities to drive targeted national and regional sales growth
*Experience in working with architects, designers and specifiers
*Knowledge of mechanical and electronic architectural hardware / ironmongery products and solutions including access control, highly desirable
*Commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal skills to support demand creation
*Working knowledge of using (input and output) a CRM system effectively to optimise sales activity
*Current valid driving license essential.
