Working for a rapidly expanding IT solutions company as a 2nd line engineer providing technical and network support to end users.
The key deliverables of the On-site Support Services Engineer are to provide technical and network support to end users working on one of our key client sites in the Bristol area. The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as exceptional analytical and technical skills. Working on your own or as part of a team you will be able to share knowledge and information with the operations team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Previous experience of providing IT Support in a commercial environment
Cisco LAN/WAN (routers, switches)
Windows Servers (full range)
Server Virtualisation (Hyper V / VMWare)
Routing / switching equipment including, but not limited to, Cisco, Dell, HP switches, routers and firewalls
Formal IT qualification, ideally MCSE/MCITP or multiple MCPs advantageous
CCNA (Routing and Switching) or CCNP
Exposure/qualifications to Aruba wireless advantageous
